The male sexual organ, otherwise known as the penis is one of the most vital organs for reproduction in men. An erection is the hardening and rising of the penis due to arousal and ejaculation is the ejecting of semen from it. Needless-to-say, the erection of the penis remains a pivotal process of sexual intercourse. Be that as it may, penile health isn’t just about erections and ejaculation.

The health of your penis is an essential part of your overall wellbeing and it goes past your capacity to get and keep an erection. Problems with the penis can be an indication of a hidden wellbeing condition.

Smoking: Alongside other wellbeing dangers, smoking increases your chance of having erectile issues.

You should understand that whatever affects your penile organ in one way or the other also affects your body at large, physically, biologically and psychologically. Hence the need to protect your penile health.

Be sexually responsible: We advise that you make use of condoms and get tested regularly.

Get vaccinated: You should consider the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to help prevent genital warts.

Practice good hygiene: If you’re not circumcised, regularly clean beneath your foreskin with soap and water. Be sure to return your foreskin to its normal position after sex.

Stop smoking and limit the amount of alcohol you drink: If you smoke, take the first step and decide to quit — then ask your doctor for help. Excess alcohol can lower testosterone levels. Experts recommend that men have no more than two drinks a day.

Make healthy choices: Maintaining a healthy weight can help reduce the risk of developing abnormal cholesterol, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. A healthy lifestyle might also help prevent erectile dysfunction.

Stay physically active: Engaging yourself in physical activity or exercises can significantly reduce your risk of erectile dysfunction.
